It was...

A Polaroid shot taken on December 1987 (I was 21) by a friend - then recently rediscovered and sent to me today.
I am impressed, as I have *no recall whatsoever* not only of this moment but of the period as a whole.
This was my home at the time: on the wall behind me you can see an infamous Litfiba poster of the Yassassin 12" single and tour (yes, it's a cover of the Bowie song): Litfiba used to be THE indie alternative band right then, then to grow as a tremendously (and ridiculous) famous mainstream band after a few years.
We were very alternative, I was a new-wave goth but looking back now I am sincerely horrified.

Laugh at me now.
I'm a bit different today.


The 80s *were* horrible, trust me guys, and if you've happened to be there at the time you know this.
